The concept of “Uniquely Whole” in scripture, particularly within Christian tradition, often refers to the individual’s unique creation and purpose, as well as the interconnectedness of the body of Christ. Scripture emphasizes the unique individuality of each person, highlighting their unique gifts and talents, while also stressing the idea that the whole body is made up of many interconnected parts, each with its own function. Psalms 139:14-16, for instance, celebrates the individual’s unique creation, highlighting God’s intentional work in forming each person. This verse emphasizes that we are “wonderfully made,” implying that God created us with purpose and intention.
Our organization is dedicated to empowering individuals with unique needs and disabilities in Anderson County and the surrounding areas. We provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that celebrates each person’s unique talents. Our goal is to promote their abilities and encourage personal growth. Additionally, we are committed to offering educational resources for families of clients with unique needs, ensuring they have the support necessary to thrive. Guided by our values, we are committed to empowerment, inclusivity, and the celebration of diversity.
We believe in supporting families with resources, encouraging personal development through skill-building and confidence, and collaborating with local organizations and communities to strengthen networks of care. Advocacy is central to our work, as we strive to raise awareness, promote understanding, and influence positive change for individuals with unique challenges. Above all, we are dedicated to ensuring safety and respect, creating an environment where every participant is valued, treated with dignity, and given the opportunity to flourish. These guiding principles shape all that we do and drive our commitment to helping each person live fully and uniquely whole.

WELCOME TO UNIQUELY WHOLE
At Uniquely Whole, we believe that every person, regardless of ability or need, deserves to feel empowered, included, and whole. Our nonprofit was born from a deep desire to create a space where individuals with disabilities and unique needs are not just supported, but celebrated.
This mission is personal. As one of the Founders and the Executive Director, I’ve witnessed the gaps in support, the missed opportunities for connection, and the quiet strength of families navigating it all. Uniquely Whole is my response; a place built on compassion, advocacy, and the belief that inclusion isn’t optional, it’s essential.
We offer programs, resources, and events designed to uplift individuals and families, foster community partnerships, and promote lasting change. Whether you’re a parent, educator, ally, or someone seeking support, you belong here.
Thank you for visiting. I invite you to explore our work, meet our team, and join us in building a more inclusive world one story, one connection, one empowered life at a time.
Warmly,
Andrea Raines, DNP, RN, CNE
